# Prysm

sm is another popular client used for block production. Documentation can be found here: <https://docs.prylabs.network/docs/getting-started>

The basic steps to run Erigon + Lighthouse are:

1. Install and run Erigon. Erigon will automatically create a [JWT secret](https://docs.erigon.tech/erigon/v2/advanced-usage/consensus-layer/jwt-secret).
2. Install and run Lighthouse, pointing to JWT secret created by Erigon.
